After recently rescanning, I noticed that the Milwaukee / Racine area has a new channel called "Movies!".  My guide settings show it as "48.8 48.8" with no known matching programming information, but it's actually supposed to be channel 49.3.  When I go to manually select the correct channel information by clicking on the gear, there is no channel 49.3 shown with no corresponding guide information.  How do I go about getting this corrected?  Any help is greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Just a quick update for everybody concerning this issue; "Sandi" the "Operations Manager" at simple.tv told me that she was following up on this issue June 3rd.  I'm waiting to hear what she came up with.

We get minor guide (EPG, channel listings) every day and major updates every few weeks I believe. Channel updates are more likely to occur within a major update. This data is licensed from a provider (like other similar services) and we've asked them to check and update their source.

Listing information for 49.3 Movies! has made it's way onto my BuddyTV app; still waiting for it to show up on the simple.tv guide.

You might be waiting for a long time.  I have been asking them to supply the channel info for multiple channels in my market and the best I get is "we're working on it."  A way to input in the legal FCC station ID info and network affiliation manually on the consumer's side is necessary when there is a situation like this.

I posted on a similiar area on this subject. A way to correct the guide is necessary to correct the assumptions made during scan and guide operations. Channel names are wrong and guide data incorrect as a result. Let the software allow a  local correction to fix the wrong data. to allow the physical channel data to map to an existing data stream would fix the problem. The time delay to "fix" the problems are just too long, if they are done at all.
