I purchased a TiVo Romeo and will be selling my Simple.TV for a fraction of the cost of purchased it. If I can get $20 for it, including lifetime it's a win for me. Simple tv is no longer offering updates to their unit and app. That's what I was told by a rep on twitter when I just happened to get a response. Time to move on. I'm saddened because I always felt simple tv had a future.

I have TWO Simple.TV devices.  First and 2nd generation.  Honestly the first generation worked best.  The noise created by the dual tuner model was offensive, so much so I finally had to take it offline.  Wife kept complaining about it and I couldn't blame her.  The technology for the dual tuner seemed flawed, in my view.  I will be selling mine on eBay soon.
